When Christian Taylor graduated NYU film school, his thesis film “THE LADY IN WAITING” which he wrote and directed, won the Student Academy Award, The Best Student Film given by the Directors Guild of America and was nominated for the Best Live Action Short Oscar. It then went on to win several international awards making it one of the most awarded short films ever.

Christian served as producer on the pilot of “SIX FEET UNDER” and then writer producer on the first two seasons. As producer he won a Golden Globe and garnered an Emmy Nomination. An episode he wrote for the show, went on to be nominated for Best Episodic Drama by the Writers Guild of America.

At this time Christian co-wrote, directed and stared in the independent mocumentary feature film “SHOWBOY” which charted his fictitious journey to Vegas to become a chorus boy in a Vegas show. The film went on to win Best feature at the Milan International Film Festival and Best directorial Debut at the British Independent Film Awards – the UK equivalent of the Spirit Awards.

Christian then worked on the short lived, but critically acclaimed drama “MIRACLES.” Which he followed by working as a writer/producer on the Emmy Winning TV series “LOST” where he won a Writers Guild Award for best Drama. Christian wrote and co-created the Fox drama series “NEW AMSTERDAM.”

Christian has just completed writing and Co-Directing “VALEMONT” a transmedia Web series for MTV, which he created with Brent Friedman. The project is currently being considered as a scripted series for MTV’s next development slate. He recently completed working closely with George Lucas, writing multiple Episodes for Season 3 & 4 of the “STAR WARS: CLONE WARS.” Christian is also co-writing with Bob Garrett, a Theatrical Musical based around the catalogue of Daryl Hall & John Oates.
