Brent Horowitz is Vice President of Business Development at FreeWheel, where he oversees the company’s strategic relationships across the digital video ecosystem. FreeWheel’s flagship product, Monetization Rights Management® (MRM®) allows professional video content owners and distributors to maximize, optimize, and account for ad inventory in a widely syndicated world.
Prior to FreeWheel, Brent spent nearly twelve years at various internet technology companies. He was most recently at Homestead Technologies, a company acquired by Intuit, Inc. as a result of Brent’s business development work. Prior to Homestead, he managed new channels at NexTag, Inc., a leading comparison shopping site and lead-generation engine.
Brent was at DoubleClick (now part of Google) for five years in its early stages, where he helped launch the DART for Advertisers business unit and grow it from an idea to an industry standard. He was also Director of Business Development, Emerging Technologies, where he had primary responsibility over the digital & interactive television space. Brent’s joined CitySearch – his first internet company – in 1997, following two years at an international money management firm.
Brent is a graduate of UCLA and resides in San Francisco.
