Q: How do I find details on other sessions, panels and speakers?
A: You can always check out the most up-to-date version of the NATPE conference agenda online at here You can see session descriptions, dates and times as well as bios and photos for other confirmed speakers.

Q: What is a Speaker Profile?
A: Your Speaker Profile is the information we have on file for you. This includes your contact details, which are used for speaker communications, and your speaker bio and photo, which are used for online and printed conference materials.

Q: How can I update my Speaker Profile?
A: You can update your contact details and submit your bio and photo to us via your online speaker profile page. This link will take you to your NATPE account page where you can access your profile. You will need your NATPE Web user ID and password. If you are not sure of your ID and password, contact Stephanie Aguayo at Stephanie@natpe.org.

Q: I have my user ID and password. Now, how do I get to my Speaker Profile?
A: A: Log onto the NATPE Web site using your user ID and password. This link will take you to your NATPE account page where you can access your profile. If this is the first time you are using your online NATPE account, you will be asked to verify your identity and confirm basic contact details. You will then select the “Edit Your Speaker Profile” option. Complete your profile and click on submit!

Q: I am having trouble with the online Speaker Profile. How can I get my speaker materials to you?
A: You can also e-mail speaker materials and updates to your Speaker Profile to Marjorie@natpe.org

Q: What are the guidelines for incorporating video clips or other audio visual material into my session?
A: Your session moderator or producer may request video clips or other audio visual material from you. If so, we encourage you to submit a clip that is under 2 minutes in length. A/V equipment will be available in the Think Tank, Presentation Theater, Insight Arena and the Briefing Room.

Q: What is the deadline for submitting video clips?
A: The deadline for a/v material is Monday, January 14.

Q: What formats are acceptable?
A: Accepted formats are Beta SP tape or DVD. If you are presenting in the Insight Arena, Presentation Theater or the Briefing Room, you may also bring your own laptop.

Q: What should I do about my hotel reservation?
A: Make your hotel reservation as early as possible for the best chance of getting the room you want. You can make your reservation online at here or by phone at 888-273-5709 or at 703-449-6418.

Q: What else do I need to do to prepare for my session?
A: Your session moderator will contact you and your fellow panelists to set up a conference call prior to NATPE. During the conference call, general guidelines for session participation as well as more specific guidelines for your panel discussion will be reviewed.

Q: Where will the conference sessions take place?
A: All NATPE sessions will take place on Level Two of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The following rooms will be used for conference sessions. Ballroom K - Think Tank and OnTechnology track sessions Ballroom I - Presentation Theater and Follow the Money track sessions Ballroom H - Coffee With, Insight Arena and LATV Fest themed sessions Breakers L – Digital Briefings Lagoon G - International Media Market Overview: China & the U.S.

Q: Can I see a map of the convention center?
A: A: Download a map of the convention center's second floor and of the hotel property's casino level here

Q: Is speaker registration provided on a complimentary basis?
A: As a non-profit, member association, we rely on the support of our members to provide services to the industry. Our policy regarding speaker registration is as follows. If you would normally attend the NATPE conference, please register as you normally would using our online registration. If you are coming specifically because you were invited to speak, please advise Stephanie Aguayo at Stephanie@natpe.org

Q: How will I get my badge?
A: Prior to speaking, you will need to pick up your badge at the advance registration desk. The registration area will be located inside Shorelines A on Level Two of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Alternately, you can also pick up your badge just prior to speaking at the Speaker Ready Room

Q: Once I'm onsite, where and when do I report for my session?
A: You will need to report to the Speaker Ready Room, located in Breakers K on the second floor of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, 25 minutes prior to your session start time.

Q: What happens when I report for my session?
A: A recap of panel discussion guidelines and any last minute housekeeping notes will be reviewed in the Speaker Ready Room. At 15 minutes prior to your start time you will be escorted to your session room and then onstage to your seat. If your session is scheduled to take place in the Think Tank, our production crew will outfit you with a lavaliere microphone. As soon as the session ends, you will be escorted offstage as crew and staff have a very short turnaround time between most sessions.
