LOS ANGELES, September 30, 2004 - The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) today announced that three more major companies have been added to the exhibition floor at the NATPE 2005 Conference & Exhibition. The event is being held at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas January 25-27. New floor exhibitors are Paramount Domestic Television, Sony Pictures International Television and Warner Brothers International Television.
Paramount Domestic Television will join their returning sister companies King World Productions and CBS Paramount International Television under the Viacom umbrella. Sony Pictures International Television will be joining the returning domestic division on the exhibition floor.
Also returning to the exhibition floor this year are the domestic and international operations of Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios and Carsey -Werner.
Regarding the announcement, Feldman noted, "Buyers continue to tell me how important the exhibit floor is to them. It is always our goal to try to make NATPE easy to negotiate. We are now running ahead of where we were at this time last year. Slowly but surely we are reuniting top companies on the floor. Iâ??d like to thank Bob Madden, Joel Berman and Armando Nuñez at Viacom, Jeff Schlesinger at Warner Bros. International and Michael Grindon at Sony International for taking time to appreciate the value of being on the floor."
Feldman continued, "I would be remiss if I also did not express my appreciation for the support of Carsey-Werner, MGM, and Sony Pictures Television as well."
Currently, the NATPE staff is in the process of developing the conference agenda for its 2005 Conference. The agenda will include issue-oriented panels, workshops, guest speakers and events designed for networking.
